• A celebration of 70s Nigeria, drawing directly from the energy, colour and swagger of Afrobeats and Highlife culture. Velvet drapes, patterned tile floors and warm golden tones set a stage that is reminiscent of a house party already in full swing.

In this period of Nigeria there was immense cultural confidence. Highlife were not simply genres of music, they were a movement, one that spoke to brotherhood, female empowerment and a collective sense of identity that resonated far beyond West Africa. The sound and the style that emerged from this era carried a bravado that would go on to shape culture on a global scale, laying foundations that are still felt today.
